Folksomt merges the ancient with the electric to create club folk music. Norwegian folk music carries a rich history of sounds and stories passed down through generations. Techno and electronica represent a global language of contemporary expression, with focus on rhythm, texture, and energy. Folksomt is a combination. Hardanger fiddle and mouth harp cut through deep bass lines, while folk singing is reimagined through layers of texture and groove. The rhythms of springar, halling, and polka still echo under the skin while the result is highly danceable and dreamlike.
